Fishing Rod
To get a fishing rod is very simple. Give Joe a few gifts of eggs. In a few days you should become decent friends. One day, go to Maple Lake. You will see a little sequence and Joe will give you an old fishing rod! Congratulations, you can now fish!
How to Fish
When you first get your rod you will get a little walkthrough on how to fish. This is basically a recap. To use the rod, push square. Then you can move where you want to cast, and then hold down x. You don't have to continue holding. Once your line is cast you can let go of X and wait. When you get a bite, four arrows will appear. One at a time, arrows will move. If the up arrow moves, hold the up button. If the right arrow moves, hold the right button, etc. While you are doing this, you must also hold the X button to reel it in. This will help you successfully catch and keep the fish! Now that you have caught a fish, you can sell it or use it for recipes!

A very obvious place to fish is Maple Lake. You can stand in different spots on the lake to fish. (More coming soon!)

Although you can't sell small fish, you can use them to cook. The only fish you can sell are medium and large.
